My father really digs Palin -- for obvious "male related" reasons. He is voting for McCain and does not understand why I am voting for Obama. This is kind of sad given that my dad is a registered democratic. As a child of the late thirties, and forties and fifties, he cannot wrap his head around the idea of an African American taking office.
That is truly unfortunate to hear. Especially when you consider that Obama is much more likely than McCain to be looking out for the interests of American families like yours.
