Did you read yesterday's post about the teacher academy being closed and 38 teacher recruits losing their jobs for next year? Well, I found out when I got to work yesterday that one of the teachers with whom I work is one of the teacher recruits who lost his job. He had been planning on becoming a math teacher at Brashear High School. He told me that the number of recruits who lost jobs is more like 60 than 38. And he was not happy. I mean, REALLY not happy.
